About Kids Day Out Variety
Kids Day Out Variety Show has been coming to over 23 towns/cities throughout New Zealand for more than ten years. This annual event was established to provide children with special needs or children due to circumstances outside of their control may require some additional focus and support for a period of time, and their families with an opportunity to participate in a LIVE Variety Show performance. This is something that appears to happen less and less in the age of technology, so through the Kids Day Out Variety Show the families get to sit down and take in the amazing performances.
About Heart Kids NZ
12 Babies are born every week with broken hearts. Heart Kids is the only organisation in New Zealand dedicated to improving the lives of these children and their families across New Zealand.
We provide practical and emotional services - be it an information brochure, specialist equipment, leadership development for heart youth and adults, specialised camps for heart children, an opportunity to connect with other families, a hot meal for hospital-bound families, or just a shoulder to lean on.
Our services are vital for those affected, helping them cope with the daily challenges that come with having a child with a childhood heart defect. However we can't do it without the amazing support of people like you.
